Orthopedic Institute offers a variety of programs to help improve your strength, mobility, and stability. The programs are directed by a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Medical Level 3 Certified Physical Therapist who specializes in sports medicine and golf rehabilitation.

*Swing analysis includes detailed look at individuals swing to determine potential injury inducing swing mechanics, swing inefficiencies, and by using BodiTrak pressure mat we will look at how your interaction with the ground is effecting your swing.
Adam Halseth, DPT, TPI M‐3, FMS, SFMA
Adam is a Licensed Physical Therapist at the Orthopedic Institute in Sioux Falls, SD. Adam, and the Orthopedic Institute in Sioux Falls, SD, developed an innovative Golf Medicine Program, the first of its kind in the area. Through his TPI Medical Level 3 certification and numerous other training, he has an in-depth understanding of how to diagnose and treat golf related injuries as well as determining where an athlete is physical limited in order to correct and prevent injuries and improve performance. His job is to design a specific program based on your unique limitations that will improve strength, mobility, and stability as it relates to the golf swing. He utilizes manual techniques, neuromuscular training and golf specific exercise programs. He has worked with some of the top country clubs in Minnesota, including Hazeltine National. He continues to enhance his knowledge with constant interactions with some of the top physical therapists in golf world, including those working with the PGA Tour. He also has experience working with some of the highest ranked junior golfers along with collegiate and professional players in Minnesota and South Dakota. He has close relationships to many of the top golf and fitness professionals in Sioux Falls as well as surrounding states, giving golfers a full team of professionals to assist their needs. Adam graduated from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences with his Doctorate in Physical therapy in 2014.
Titleist Performance Institute:
TPI’s main purpose is to better understand how the body works with the golf swing in order to improve golf performance. They have done extensive research in the golf field and have determined the relationship between the body and swing characteristics that affect performance or lead to injuries. They have worked with hundreds of professional golfers and amateurs alike. Many of the current PGA players have a TPI certified member on their team, including 12 of the last 16 major champions.
