Today’s Clinic and Office
Orthopedic Institute was formed in 1999 when the Midwest Orthopedic Center practice and the Orthopedic Sports Medicine practice merged. The Plaza 5 building located on the Avera McKennan Health main campus, just West of the Cancer Institute and South of the Transplant Institute, has served OI well for many years, but the time has come to improve the patient experience.
Our New Clinic & Administrative Office
Our new (70,000 sq. ft.) clinic and administrative office, will be conveniently located near the federally approved I-29 & West 85th Street interchange in Tea, SD. The new location will be south of 85th Street and west of Interstate 29. We project a groundbreaking for the new clinic facility in September 2023, with a grand opening in early 2025.
