PRN Orthopedic Occupational Therapist

Our busy Orthopedic Specialty Practice is expanding and we are seeking a PRN (10-12 hours) Occupational Therapist. Candidate must have strong clinical skills and desire to provide extraordinary patient care.

Job Duties:

  • Therapist will be responsible for administering assessments and completing comprehensive evaluations
  • Provide client-centered therapy both in the Hospital and Clinic setting
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form with patients, staff, families and physicians regarding therapy services.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be graduates from an accredited occupational therapy program, licensed in the state of South Dakota, and be board certified
  • Experience in splinting as well as pre and post op surgical care
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to identify and implement components of the occupational therapy process

Clinic Nurse–RN, LPN or MA

Job Summary

The position responsibilities are: assisting physician and/or mid-level in clinic environment. Duties include: rooming patients, medical histories, injections and patient phone calls and assisting with procedures.

Clinic hours to be covered are M-F, 7:00 am-5:30 pm. Must be flexible as Full-Time hours will be a combination of 5 hour and 10 hour shifts. Will also work 1-2 Saturday shifts per year.

Required licensure and education for the position. Basic computer skills. Must possess exceptional customer service and ability to communicate with patients, clinic staff, and physicians. Successful candidates will have excellent multi-tasking skills to keep the flow of the busiest Orthopedic Clinic in Sioux Falls running smoothly.
