From Dr. Geisinger
“The spine is an exciting and complex part of the body which has always been an area of interest for me. The importance of a healthy, well functioning spine is the ‘backbone’ to a healthy well functioning life. It is remarkable how durable and strong the spine is as it holds people erect while protecting the most delicate structure in the body; the spinal cord. I enjoy the anatomy of the spine and the important role it plays in the body.
My wife and I grew up on farms near Spencer, Iowa. Our families continue to farm and raise corn, soybeans and livestock. Outside of orthopedics, I have a real passion for farming. I enjoy working on equipment, taking care of the animals and working the fields. We are currently building our own hobby farm with our kids. I am thrilled to have the ability to give our kids the same agrarian upbringing that my wife and I had.
I am very excited to be practicing orthopedics in the heart of the Midwest. I have great respect for the people here and I feel a deep responsibility to care for our community in the most diligent, honest, and compassionate way. I look forward to meeting you!”
