Orthopedic Institute and Core Orthopedics and Sports Medicine have teamed up to bring patients the best independent orthopedic services in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa.
The partnership will assemble the largest independent group of professionals dedicated to providing orthopedic care in the region. This protects patients’ freedom to choose their provider regardless of payer, without a referral, and in a timely manner.
The OI partnership is dedicated to creating an exceptional, personalized patient experience, improving efficiency and access to care, and preserving patient and referring provider choice for their orthopedic needs. Improved efficiency for our patients and collaborative care will raise the bar for healthcare delivery in the region. Together we will remain the ones to trust for orthopedic care.
In addition to the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic conditions, the new integrated practice will provide the entire spectrum of musculoskeletal care to individuals and athletes of all ages and abilities including:
- Orthopedic Urgent Care
- Physical and Hand Therapy
- Advanced Imaging
- Sports Performance and Injury Prevention
- Non-opioid, Comprehensive Pain Management
Over 95 years of combined orthopedic services.
What This Means for Patients
The CORE physicians will continue to see patients at their current outreach locations and at the Sioux Falls CORE clinic address, 2908 E. 26th Street, Sioux Falls, SD, until March 31, 2019.
On April 1, 2019 the CORE physicians and staff will move their Sioux Falls clinic into the Orthopedic Institute clinic location at 810 E. 23rd Street, Sioux Falls, SD.
If the CORE clinic was an in-network provider with your health plan, there should not be a change in obtaining in-network benefits for continued care.
Both OI and CORE are contracted with the same larger health plans in the market. You will be able to continue to receive care from your CORE physician and staff as before. After January 1, 2019, any billing statement received for services provided will be issued from Orthopedic Institute.
