Jodi Fuerstenberg, MS, ATC

After a lifelong involvement in sports and a desire to help people feel their best, Jodi became an Athletic Trainer. Her goal was accomplished after completing her bachelor’s in Athletic Training from Buena Vista University. She spent 16 years at Southwest Minnesota State University before this position. While at SMSU, she completed her master’s degree in education with an emphasis in sport leadership. At SMSU, she provided healthcare coverage for student-athletes and spent time teaching in the classroom as an adjunct faculty member. As an athletic trainer, Jodi has a solid commitment to providing excellent care and the desire to help people feel their best. She is excited to be part of this team at OI, under the leadership of many physicians and ATs, providing quality care to patients of all ages.

Jodi provides outreach athletic training coverage to area schools around the Brookings area, including Sioux Valley, Arlington, and Elkton/Lake Benton.

While not working in the clinic or with outreach teams, she enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor adventures, traveling, and puzzle competitions with her mom and sisters.
