Jed Dooyema, MSAT, ATC

Jed grew up in Luverne, MN, and attended Augustana University, where he ran the 400m for the Track and Field Team. He joined the athletic training program after advice from a friend and quickly fell in love with it. Jed obtained a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and a Master’s in Athletic Training. While at Augustana, he worked with the Football, Basketball, and Baseball teams, which deepened his passion for sports coverage and the care of both acute and long-term patient needs.

Outside of his time at the Orthopedic Institute, Jed enjoys scuba diving—especially shipwreck dives—along with hunting, fishing, and boating.
