Griffin Anderson
Griffin grew up in Hartford, South Dakota, where he developed a passion for helping others at an early age. He graduated from West Central High School before attending South Dakota State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a master’s degree in athletic training.
His interest in athletic training was shaped by both his love of sports and his personal experiences as an athlete. During his final two years of high school, Griffin battled recurring knee injuries that kept him in and out of the training room. Those experiences gave him firsthand insight into the challenges injured athletes face and strengthened his desire to help others return to the activities they love.
Griffin always knew he wanted a career centered around sports, and athletic training proved to be the perfect combination of his passion for athletics and interest in the human body. He especially enjoys working in the high school setting because it provides the opportunity to work with a wide variety of athletes and be involved in all sports the school has to offer.
As an athletic trainer, Griffin is committed to providing high-quality care and helping athletes recover as quickly and safely as possible. Having personally experienced the impact of excellent orthopedic care, he is excited to be part of the team at Orthopedic Institute.
Outside of work, Griffin enjoys playing and watching sports, weightlifting, spending time with family, and practicing his faith.
