From Dr. Wingate
“I know that back pain can often be a difficult and scary situation for many patients. Over many years of schooling, I have amassed a variety of skills in conservative and surgical treatments. I will work with you to find the best fit and care for your spinal needs. I have specialization in comprehensive spine care and surgery, and I am able to treat a wide range of back and neck conditions, from simple pains to complex issues. I will always strive to treat conditions without resorting to surgery, but my primary aim is to treat people in the best possible and most effective way.”
Raised in Brandon, Dr. Wingate is returning to the region as a comprehensive spine surgeon, specializing in degenerative conditions and spine deformity. He has had extensive training in cervical disc replacement surgery and is excited to provide this highly successful surgery to patients who suffer from arm or neck pain. He graduated from Sanford School of Medicine at USD, and completed an internship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pennsylvania, and an orthopedic residency from Marshall University School of Medicine in West Virginia. He is fellowship trained in simple to complex revision spine care/surgery from Sonoran Spine Institute in Arizona.
