Sports Medicine Injury Clinics
For over twenty years, the sports medicine physicians of the Orthopedic Institute have been supporting high school athletes by offering a Saturday Morning Injury Clinic during the busy fall sports season. As we enter yet another season, we want to let you know that we are still offering the same high level of care on Saturdays this fall.
The Orthopedic Institute maintains great pride in our sports medicine facility, our staff and the ability to work with many area schools and communities. We understand that people have a choice in sports medicine care and we hope that the choice continues to be with the Orthopedic Institute. We are proud to provide our patients with a complete package of services that includes five sports medicine orthopedic surgeons, one sports medicine physician dealing with non-surgical injuries, 15 certified athletic trainers, 3 athletic trainer/physical therapists and a complete sports medicine and rehabilitation facility.
This year, Orthopedic Institute’s Saturday Morning Sports Injury Clinic will be starting on Saturday, August 28, 2010, the final 2010 Sports Injury Clinic will take place on October 23, 2010. This Saturday clinic will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.; however, we encourage you to arrive early. Patients should check-in on the third floor between 8:30am and 10:30am unless prior arrangements are made. During these clinics, one of the sports medicine physicians will be in the clinic along with members of our athletic training staff to provide care and treatment of acute sports injuries.
We are excited to continue our services to you, your school, your student athletes and your community. As always, we can be reached via the Sports Medicine Hotline, 1-866-777-7678 or by dialing 605-977-6845. This number is available to coaches, parents and physicians, allowing you a direct line to our athletic training staff about advice on injuries, braces, or to make appointments.
Again, please feel free to call us for any questions you may have about your sports medicine needs.
Sincerely,
Brad K. Pfeifle
